About This Beer
We basically quit filtering our Czech pale lagers (Světlý Ležák) after a research trip to rural parts of Bohemia and a visit to Pilsner Urquell. They are all better unfiltered when using actual Czech lager yeast. This beer uses 100% Bohemian malt, most of it floor malted like they did 100 years ago and the H-strain from Pilsner Urquell. We used a new favorite hop called Celeste that brings notes of honeydew melon to the mix.
